Powder Pursuits started as a passion project & thats why we continue to do it now. Its FUN!!!! After renting snowboards out of the dorms, Chris decided it was the business for him. He moved to Steamboat Springs in 85 and began giving snowboard lessons on buffalo pass. In 86 when steamboat finally allowed snowboards on the hill, Chris saw a market that was not only fun but would sustain his lifestyle as a snowboard bum himself. 23 years later we still are having fun day in day out.
